This year, I am not only changing our classroom, but hoping to expose other teachers to new learning styles as well. With flexible seating, kids are in power of their surroundings and their learning environment. I want them to feel ownership of their learning space and have the ability to be comfortable in their learning environment. Figeting, body movement and preference are all things that students need and I very much believe in being an advocate for whole body education. Kids need to stretch, stand, wiggle, bend, and be relaxed in order to have whole brain buy in to their education. We need seats, pillows and bean bag chairs.

About my class
