I already know exactly where these materials for the listening stations will go in our classroom! Being able to provide my students with the opportunity to listen to stories in this way will enrich their multi-sensory experiences with books. Hearing books read aloud helps children not only focus on the sounds of the words read aloud , but also provides a model of what it means to read fluently. These materials will be used to create a new station in the classroom that will be used for years to come with all my students. Listening to books read aloud has so many benefits, I can not wait to share this with my students!
