Greenburgh Academy, is located just minutes north of New York City in Westchester County, we educate students with learning, behavioral and psychiatric disabilities in grades 7-12. In my class we are committed to educating our students with knowledge in order to live a well balanced healthy life. We are trying to expose these students to all components of health and wellness. Especially, physical activities they may not ever have a chance to experience. We hope that these opportunities become a passion and lead to lifelong hobbies! As a district we believe strongly in the correlation between healthy students and academic progress. We are trying to prepare these students to achieve their future goals, but if they are not at their peek health how will we be able to executive their goals to our full potential.
