Imagine if you will, students eager to learn, and you have no books to put in their hands? This is my school this year. We had more students sign up for honors than we had books. We are a poor and rural school. Budgets are slashed to pay for our aging building. And yet, how can I turn away a student willing and eager to learn? How do I shut the door on them? Help me to put books into the hands of my students. Is education only for the rich, only for those who can afford the supplies? Or do we still value a public education for all? Help me to help my students and together we build a better world for all.
