I teach in a Title 1 school and we don't have all of the resources that many other schools have. I have purchased 3 pencil sharpeners in my 3 years of teaching 1st grade, and none of them have been able to keep up with my students' pencil sharpening. Sometimes my students bring pencils from home to sharpen as they do not have one at home, and I hope that the sharpener will work for them. Having this pencil sharpener is sure to improve our learning as less time will be taken up waiting in line for the pencil sharpener.
