I am looking to brighten up and diversify my collection of mentor texts and trade books for teaching various reading skills. These books will be used for read alouds with the class of students, inspiring young readers for years to come. These books will be used to teach important reading skills like inferring, cause and effect, retelling, and so much more. It is important for children to see themselves in the books they read! My students deserve engaging, funny, relevant and inspiring picture books to make their learning even more meaningful. This will happen with books like "My Name is Sengoel"and "Chachaji's Cup", both books that expose children to different cultures.

About my class
