Flexible seating is the new thing that is taken over the traditional desk you see in classrooms. I have been trying to get "on board" with this new learning tool but financially it is hard to swap out all desk and offer new seating. The kids have enjoyed the limited options I have provided, but I would love to help give them more varieties for learning. Kindergarten is the first time they are in school all day and sitting at a desk is hard for these busy bees. When they have seating options that fit their learning needs, I have seen them being more attentive in the classroom. It helps students with ADHD and special needs move around but still be able to focus on what is being said. Students are allowed to choose their own seat daily and work in a location that suits them.
