My students come in the first day as excited as I do, we're excited to meet the person we get to start the next 180-day ADVENTURE with. They are excited to start the year, and motivated to do all they can to succeed and build relationships! Due to the demographics of my school, many of my students come in with an empty backpack or none at all. My goal is to have my students walk into a desk full of notebooks, crayons, pencils, and EVERYTHING they need for their learning. Their names will show proudly as they sit down and look at THEIR new home for learning. They will bring the brain power and smiles, as I supply them with each and every tool to create that awesome A+ project that they have in their head waiting to come out! These students love school and they come in each day enthusiastic and ready to learn, I don't want an empty desk to change that. My school is a wonderful community where the students feel safe to explore new ideas, create, inspire, and is constantly working towards achieving new goals. Funding for this project would mean you are helping to provide students with endless possibilities in their learning. It all starts with a pencil!
