My community of students needs books of varying levels so that I can meet students where they learn best. I have chosen some 5th grade level texts because test scores show that many of my incoming 6th graders are reading below grade level. As a new teacher, I need help boosting my classroom library~ we need a plethora of books! It is hard to know which book will be "the one" to spark a young person's love of reading, therefore a variety of options is my desire. My classroom should be a place where students can find a multitude of options!
