As a first year teacher I will be establishing a classroom that is not only functional, but that fosters learning. This group of students is as motivated by learning as I am. Students' learning would be impacted as these essential classroom materials are utilized each day. Tailoring instruction in our classroom will allow individual needs to be met and allow content, processes, and flexing grouping to occur. Differentiated learning will be a huge part of the way instruction happens in our classroom and will inspire students to grow and develop as individuals. We will utilize flexible seating (chairs and swivel task chair) during our school day and will also rely on our carpet area as a station for math rotations. Having these materials will not only contribute to the flow of our day as we transition into different subjects through our day, but will help create a positive classroom environment, as each students develops their knowledge base in a setting that makes learning fun.
