Working at a title I school, coming across classroom supplies can be difficult. There are many situations where students and their families are unable to purchase everything asked of them. I would be so grateful for any assistance possible to help my students excel.
These materials will help to encourage each students participation in daily classroom activities. Dry erase boards will be used to complete various math tasks, while the pocket sleeves will be used in fun-interactive math stations. I know that my students would enjoy using materials other then paper and pencil, it will be an exciting way for them to practice math strategies. The dry erase boards would serve a dual purpose, doubling as a surface for counting math manipulatives on.
The remaining materials requested will be used for classroom organization! The toner will be used to print fun and exciting interactive work pages. I will also use it to print out fun math games I can laminate for use through out the school year that are fun and relative to the current season. Specifically, we will be playing math games that increase the students math fluency and math fact memorization. The file folders will be used to organize paper and documents that the students can access at their own pace.
