My students must keep up with the latest advancement in education to compete with students in wealthier districts. My school does not have a large collection of laptops for students to utilize. We are growing each year and our students well outnumber the laptops! I would like to help build the collection of Chromebooks to ensure that the students keep up with the ever growing world of computers. In our new curriculum literacy centers will play an important role in providing the students to work on reading, writing, and math skills they have learned in an independent setting. Encouraging students to trust in themselves is so important for their growth as an independent thinker.
