It’s so vital that you expose your children to people who are different than you. It is so important that we celebrate differences, and read books with multiple cultures portrayed as the hero. Through these read alouds, I want children to see different identities, and celebrate those differences. These books will serve as windows into other's lives, and mirrors into their own lives. I have compiled a list of books that will help me teach empathy, compassion, kindness, and culturally awareness. Through read alouds, I can show each child they matter.
