Instead of having students complete worksheets for morning work when they arrive at school I will have morning work tubs available to provide student choice. As students enter the classroom at different times in the morning, STEAM tubs will be out at tables as engaging activities to stimulate critical thinking. It will also promote the development of social skills as students are working with one another to problem solve. Materials such as magnetic tiles, Legos, engineering kits, and blocks will be used in these tubs to engage and challenge my students. Students will be able to build, create and problem solve using these fun materials.
