Do you remember those hard chairs and small desks that you had as a student? Well, not much has changed! I have started to incorporated some flexible seating in my classroom for students to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are comfortable and physically active. I have requested items that would help my students like wobbly chairs, wobble cushions, and floor seats. I have also included storage furniture to store their belongings. This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
