I would like for students in my classroom to be able to stay focused on their own work while using their assigned Chromebook. In order to do this with few distractions, and less transition time during centers, it will help for each student to have their own headphones to go with their assigned Chromebook. This will help in a couple of additional ways that I did not cover earlier. Kindergartners with assigned supplies know where to get them from and where to put them when they are finished using them, causing them to learn responsibility, how to care for their own supplies to make them last, and they feel a sense of pride when they keep their things in good working condition. It is for these reasons that I would like to receive 20 pairs of headphones for my Kindergartners to use this year.
