My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. I don't like sitting at my desk all day. If you came into my class during my prep time, you will probably find me sitting at a table, laying across the carpet on my laptop, or standing somewhere. I know I work better when I have a choice of where I am sitting, so do my students! The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools and balance ball seats allow some movement while working. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. The comfy floor seats and the pillows will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. Allowing students the choice of seating puts them in charge of their own learning. Being in charge of their own learning allows for more engaged learners, a collaborative classroom environment and less disruptions in the classroom. I love flexible seating and am excited to give these learners the classroom of their dreams!
