Having access to an all-in-one color printer will enable my students to have copies of activity sheets that are vibrant and classroom decorations that pop. My goal is to make a storybook themed classroom. When my students need visual representations of the animals or plants we study, I want to provide them with color copies. Printing in color will allow me to scaffold their learning of place value as they see the numbers in the tens and ones place in bright colors. A classroom printer would become my students beacon of color for their projects. The glimmer I see in my students eyes when they see their materials in color is tremendous. Interesting color combinations make things more engaging for them. An all-in-one color printer could also benefit their peers in other classrooms.
