Flexible seating offers students who struggle to concentrate and sit still for extended periods of time, the options of something that will allow the movement they crave while being able to sit through an entire lesson. The students' academic performance will improve because they are able to focus on the lesson and not on their urge to move. Most of my students suffer from attention deficit issues that cause them to struggle academically because they lose focus on the lesson. Flexible seating options will help alleviate the urge to move and allow the students the ability to focus on the lessons and improve their academic performance.
