The garden project will be able to teach the students how important plant life is to all human beings on earth. It will encourage the students to exercise being responsible by taking care of the garden. Their writing skills will flourish as they write about experiments, facts, and their observations. Oral language and communication will develop. They will learn to agree and disagree, compare and contrast, and build relationships among their peers. This project will not just teach them science but will integrate social-emotional learning, which I believe they need especially during a pandemic.

About my class
