I chose reading and math materials, like quiz cards and games, that will be used for small group activities, working with the teacher, and center time where the students partner with peers to increase knowledge and build their stamina in those content areas. These tools will be used to assist the students with comprehension and reinforce skills in preparation for the state testing requirements. In addition skill building will promote classroom participation and performance; which will affect their overall grades in a positive manner. The opportunity to practice what they are learning increases critical thinking skills, develops a connection with content and builds self esteem.

About my class
