I am a 18 year veteran teacher who is hoping to rebuild my classroom library so that I can bring back the love of reading to my students. Most of my classroom books are worn or outdated. My students interest have changed throughout the years and I have to keep up with their wants and needs if they are to become life long readers in my classroom. When shopping for this project, I thought of book recommendations from previous students and colleagues. I also read each Book Review from Amazon carefully. Having a great classroom library full of rich literature will help create independent, life long readers.
