Creating a Flexible seating arrangement in the classroom by allowing the students choices on where to work. Student engagement will be increased and will allow for more collaboration in the classroom. The students will use these flexible seating options everyday in the classroom, allowing them more freedom in the classroom by choosing where they learn best. Students will use the wobble chairs and stability balls while they are working on independent work, as well as during whole group learning. The lap desks will be used by individual students who want to work around the room rather than at a desk. These flexible seating options help the students move around and are beneficial to students who have learning issues or built up energy. I firmly believe that by giving students options in the classroom, they become more intrinsically motivated to learn. Students are people too and they deserve a voice. Let's empower these students and encourage life long learning. Thanks for supporting our classroom.
