The goal of this project is to give my students flexible seating, or different choices of places to learn in our room. I would like to purchase bean bag chairs, a futon, and stability balls to improve concentration and focus as well as give my students an outlet for excess energy. Flexible seating will strengthen our classroom environment, get students their needed movement, and give students a sense of belonging in our classroom. In my classroom, I like to give my students a choice of where they are most comfortable learning. Many students benefit from having their own space to focus and concentrate and it improves their ability to facilitate creativity.
