So many students are behind in their teamwork and collaboration skills due to COVID-19 related impacts. Many of them lost out on group work due to fear of the virus being spread in the classroom. With the purchase of these kits I will be able to cover key social studies content while helping my students to work on their social skills. Many of my students will be graduating high school in a few years and will be expected to collaborate on the job without much experience over the last few years. BreakoutEDU kits and subscriptions will allow even my most reserved students to break out of their shell and interact with their peers in a meaningful way while studying various social studies content. My students might be trying to escape or breakout before the bell rings, but with hands-on activities like this they will be ready to hurry back in and immerse themselves into a different decade or century. What better way to study the Enlightenment than to decode and discover for yourself!
