It is a proven fact that students learn better through hands-on, engaging activities and what better way to do that than through S.T.E.A.M. activities. As the only science/social studies teacher in my school, I need materials to foster my students thinking abilities. Whether it be LEGOs, Microscopes, or human body puzzles, my students need to be able to look at things, touch things, and manipulate things to help with the learning process. Science is supposed to be fun and I want to give my students the opportunity to see the world from a scientist's eyes. These items will hopefully foster the love of science in some of them and spark a flame that will develop our future scientists for years to come!
