I am blessed to have a wonderful group of kindergarteners who are eager to learn and grow! My students have a love of learning, are curious, energetic, and love hands-on learning! Our classroom is a place for endless possibilities and I believe if students have the chance to move they will be able to focus and have a better opportunity to learn!
Help me give my students flexible seating options like wobble chairs, scoop chairs, and fidget resistance chair bands. Flexible seating options help students focus on the task at hand instead of being uncomfortable as well as helping burn excess energy and get their wiggles out.
Students will be able to choose their seating option on a regular basis based on what they feel they need at that time. No child likes to be stuck in a desk all day. During math they might want to work at the floor table or at their desks with the resistance bands, but during reading they might decide to sit on one of the rockers. In my classroom they will have the option to move to make the best of their learning.
