When the students enter my classroom at the beginning of the year, they bring with them the typical art supplies. This consist of markers, crayons, and one watercolor pallet. I would love to expose them to various other forms of art and art media. The students are asked to perform all week in a specific manner. The time spent in art will allow them to express ideas and feelings through their artwork. Creativity is a gateway to a more successful student. It will encourage the students to recognize new skills in themselves.
