When I read to my students they will have a comfy rug to sit on! I have many books I plan to read to my students, and sitting on an old carpet that might not be very clean is not very comfortable for them. I want to make sure it is warm and inviting, so they want to sit and listen to the literature I am sharing with them. I also wanted something to help organize all of the things I use to teach with. Paper, whiteboard markers, magnetic manipulatives, and erasers. We do not use % for grading, but parents always want to know what their percentage is, so the easy grading will help!
