In providing us with a classroom library, you would be encouraging the students to do something that not only enriches their minds, but also brings them great joy. Some of the students in my class are struggling readers. Reading does not bring the joy that it brings to some. I am a firm believer that it is because they have not yet found the right book. With this donation, my students will learn that a love of reading is possible even if they feel that they are not strong readers. Strong readers are not born but they are developed with learning, love, and that "just right" book. As a first-year teacher, I would love to provide an enriching classroom library.
