This young-adult fantasy adventure will embolden teen readers to use their own powers more masterfully. Everyone has gifts and talents. Literacy helps individuals to maximize their skills and believe in their abilities to achieve success. The ninth grade English I curriculum begins with students reading The Odyssey. Children of Blood and Bones will be an awesome addition to enriching students' learning. It brings in the perspective of West African mythology. The author of Children of Blood and Bones has received a seven-figure book advance and movie deal to write a trilogy! This book is her magnificent debut. Students will enjoy!
