I am currently the reading specialist at an elementary school on a US Air Force Base. The students we service are children of active duty personnel. We have a high amount of students who move from air force base to air force base across the world which often causes severe delays in their reading ability. Many of my students have been to three schools by the first grade. You can imagine how this affects their reading ability. Due to the building being on an air force base our resources are often limited. Our building is over 60 years old. Our military and families deserve the very best and we could use your help to ensure we give them everything we can.
