This year, students will be working on documenting their PHYSICAL work on the classroom management website ClassDojo. We plan to find ways to reduce paper waste in the modern classroom by documenting the "journey" of completing a task rather than using paper to perform the same function. Students will use dry erase makers, boards, plastic sleeves, collaborative conversations, and their chromebooks to brainstorm and complete their assignments. To document these (almost) intangible processes we plan to take pictures, record videos, and submit work using the classroom IPAD. The plastic sleeves also serves the same purpose of reusing worksheets from one class to another in order to cut down on cost while also giving students the space to annotate articles or completing thinking maps.
