All students deserve to have access to quality texts that are appropriate for where they are academically. Not only does the content in third grade become more rigorous for typical learners, but it becomes almost impossible to access for students who are reading 2+ years below grade level. These materials will be used to allow students to access grade level content and skills through texts that are leveled to meet their needs. All students deserve to have access to quality texts that will instill a love of reading in them. When students are able to access grade level content, they feel more confident in the classroom and in turn, make incredible academic progress.

About my class
