Field day is an opportunity for my students to showcase their skills. In my schedule for field day, I have include at least one water/snack break for every class. These breaks are essential for students, it keeps them hydrated and energized throughout each station. Snack breaks are an important consideration on Field Day. I encourage all of my students to be active and to engage at every station but more importantly to have fun. Field day offers the opportunity to integrate other subject areas into the process. Field day is a very important time of the year and something my students really look forward to.
