The items listed are school supplies needed for the 2018-2019 school year. For example, the composition notebooks are used for journal about a specific subject like writing about our reading. The 3-ring binder is for putting our poetry in. The play dough is for developed fine motor with our hands to help improve writing skills. The markers and paper are for development of fine motor and developing our artistic skills. The index cards is for learning our sight words and the zip lock bags are for storage of our sight words and our reading books. All the supplies listed are items the parents would normally purchase but we are trying to assist the parents with Hurricane recovery due to many of the children are living in temporary housing.
