The products I chose will help my students with the overall concept of print, in addition to creating a warm safe environment where all students are free to learn. It will also provide them with an opportunity to be a part of our classroom community. My students will use the educational rug to learn the Alphabet with upper and lower case letter recognition, shapes, and colors. In the classroom bundle, they will learn various skills such as months and days of the year. The bundle also contains portion for class jobs that will allow students to take part in duties to create a environment where cooperative interactions are encouraged and practiced. These products all have a unique purpose whether it’s calendar skills, letters and sounds, or jobs and responsibilities. My students will be given the opportunity to see and practice skills everyday due to the strategic print place within each product. The materials requested will provide students with basic foundational skills that they will need to be successful in life.
