Flexible seating creates an engaging, positive, nurturing, and comfortable learning environment that will enhance my students' learning. When my students are working independently on tasks, tests, and assignments, they will be able to freely move around to a location that works best for them and helps them learn at their optimal level. Last year I used yoga balls, cushion seats, and wiggle bands and noticed a big difference in their motivation, completion of assignments and tasks, and in their learning. I would like to add more flexible seating to my classroom environment such as: yoga balls/balance balls, wobble chairs, saucer chairs, and yoga ball/balance ball desk chairs that will create such a positive and flexible learning environment. The products I have selected will give my students additional seating to make their learning more effective. The wobble chairs and yoga/balance balls-desk chairs help students to wiggle and focus more on the task at hand while giving them opportunities to wiggle and move while learning. The saucer chairs give students an opportunity to sit in a comfortable environment reading a book or writing in their journals.
