Reading and math can become a dull routine after some time to students. These instruments will bring a consistent opportunity to my students to use their musical intelligence and associate sounds with words and numbers. This will increase their opportunities to learn new challenging vocabulary and numbers up to the one hundred thousands in a way that clicks for them. The instruments will also provide chances for students to increase their reading comprehension by associating sounds in a rhythmic pattern for students to identify and analyze text structure, such as cause and effect. They will also be able to bring stories, poems, and dramas alive by adding the continuing melodic pattern to grasp student engagement and commitment to their learning. Finally, these instruments will be able to provide my students and I more opportunities for enriched assessment instead of paper and pencil by students performing music, reading, science, social studies, and math standards to be assessed.
