Students in my classroom need sensory stimulation and technology in order to access learning in the classroom. The sensory seats, technology (projector-Chromebooks), and kinetic sand will provide the modes of learning that my students need in order to be successful. The Chromebooks will be used to access applications that will support students to apply strategies and skills from their phonic program and math into different context. The LCD projector will allow me to project images so my scholars can have models to access new vocabulary words, content and will allow us to have a shared experience within our classroom community. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. These tools will allow my students to soar and reach the hopes and dreams they created for themselves. It is about access and my students deserve it.
