My students enjoy having lessons on the floor. It gives them a chance to relax and engage in what we are doing or learning. They also love to sit on the floor during station rotations with clipboards and lap desks to work. They enjoy reading on the floor as well. The carpet squares will give my students more cushion to sit comfortably on the floor. With the carpet being portable, my students will be able to take their carpet to a spot of their choice in our room. We can also put them together to give us a large sitting area when we need to meet together. Having these would be a huge improvement to the rough floor my students currently sit on.
