My student-centered classroom needs seating choices to accommodate a morning and afternoon class. These choices will provide a sense of freedom and will divide stations in a math, science, social studies and language arts classroom. According to research students learn better when they feel comfortable and have choices. I am confident that by giving them a variety of alternative for seating will reduce their anxiety of learning in a second language and will engage them in the academic activities. I am requesting balance ball seats and wobble chairs. Learning is supposed to be fun, engaging and meaningful. By giving them the power to choose their seating and working area the learning process will be exciting every day for them. This project will cover two classrooms with am and pm classes. A total of 88 students will benefit immediately this next academic year every day.
