The theme in our classroom is baseball. While I worked really hard to pull the theme off this year, it just did not pan out the way I imagined it. The rug and pillows are for a reading corner, somewhere where the students can relax and enjoy a book when they are done with their work. I want to create a safe classroom space that is inviting yet relaxing. The storage area is to organize our classroom library. We utilize an accelerated reading program, I would like to keep the books separated by reading level. A large amount of our classwork is done using Google Classroom and utilizing educational programs such as iReady. The students need headphones as everyone does not perform on the same level and their assignments differ.
