We are requesting a variety of locks and lock boxes for lock box challenges. These materials will be used to have students increase their knowledge of classroom content to complete a lock box challenge. We have five groups in our classroom and each group will receive a lock box with six different types of locks. They will be given questions or tasks to answer and they are challenged to find the answer or clue. Once the students have found the clues they are given a code or key depending on task and they are to unlock the lock. The first group to unlock all six locks correctly wins the lock box challenge. This can be used in all content areas and is a fun and exciting way for students to apply what they know and use their critical thinking skills.
