My students have the option of choosing their seats each day. I let them choose based on comfort and what will help them stay focused. I have noticed that some of my students enjoy sitting on the floor to complete class work or to read. I do not have many options for these students to make it comfortable. The portable desks will help give the children a platform for their work instead of bending down to the floor or laying uncomfortably to work. The pillows will allow children to sit comfortably while completing work. The desks will allow students to choose less distracting areas to work. Students perform better and have a better chance of staying engaged when they have proper tools.
