My bilingual students practice reading and writing daily! Sometimes English spelling and sentence structure can be very challenging. We use several different ways to practice these skills. We use marker boards, sentence strips, and task cards. However, markers dry out, sentence strips tear, and task cards get lost easily. IPads keep my students engaged and are very easy to use! By donating to our project, you will help my learners increase their academic achievement through technology! The Osmo is an attachment for an iPad. It has several different features. My students would be able to practice skills that will benefit them in every subject. The Osmo Genius Kits will allow my bilingual students to practice their spelling in a more creative way. Stronger spellers make stronger writers. They will also be able to create stories through the different apps included. Students can practice critical thinking skills by using the coding apps as well as the tangram app.
