My ELL language students need a lot of opportunities to talk amongst their peers. They have low confidence and low self esteem in a large classroom setting, These tables will promote increased language confidence in a small group setting, which will transfer to the large group setting, as well as in their daily lives. These tables with increase communication which carries over into reading fluently, all subject areas, and increase writing capabilities. Shared responses will drive all students to speak more, learn more language, and in turn increase test scores. I truly believe that the more my students share with each other, the more confident they will become in school!
