Now, more than ever, students are navigating a cruel world of social isolation due to the global pandemic. This project will allow me to create a safe space in my physical classroom to facilitate group collaboration and social learning. This will also give my students the opportunity to the 21st Century skills (character, citizenship, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration) that are not only vital to their life success but also helpful to their current emotional states. Thank you to the Utah State Board of Education for generously offering this stipend that will give my students the upper-hand in their educations. Without this grant, I would still just be dreaming of the tables and chairs that would be great for my students.
