My students love learning new things in Physical Education. In the past I have done traditional sports in class, with a few nontraditional sports. Badminton is a sport that no one in my school has played before so it will be great to give the students something new and exciting to look forward to at this difficult time. Due to COVID-19 my circumstances have changed, so now I would like to teach my students badminton. The only net sport I have taught my students so far is volleyball, and they love it. So I know that if I were to get badminton equipment, my students will enjoy it. Having the students learn how to play badminton will be a good way to get them to be physically active, and stay safe while in the gymnasium as it will be possible to be socially distanced while playing.
