The dramatic play area is a favorite with both boys and girls. Children thrive on pretend play, they love to dress up and act out real life situation. The area helps students to develop creativity, imagination and oral language skills. This center can be fill with both learning and fun. They will not only be having fun, but they’ll be learning through play. When kids are engage in pretend play they are developing skills across all learning areas such as: language, literacy, math, science, social studies, fine/gross motor skills and social skills. These are the skills that they are going to need to be ready and successful for kindergarten.

About my class
